While this resembles the fifth, as one would expect it's decidedly fresher and more youthful. However, there is also a good deal more complexity and overall pop and punch. Drink now and over the next decade. The note from fifth is: Wonderfully complex, expressive and intense aged white burgundy aromas that still are completely fresh and pure if no longer primary lead to round, rich, powerful and extremely long flavors. There is really good depth here with the classic Corton-Charlemagne minerality and racy finishing acidity. While I would expect no further positive development, the balance is so good that this should easily hold for a number of years to come.
