An attractive 1985 that's starting to show well, with aromas of cherry, spice and nut. Full-bodied, with silky tannins and a long, sweet aftertaste.--Dow vertical. Best from 2001 through 2010. (JS)

About the Wine
Red-purple hue. Nose of round black fruit, blackberries, and currant. Smooth texture with pure black fruit and soft tannins that show up towards the finish. Good length with a nice warming finish.
