Mint and currant aromas, a smooth texture, supple tannins and great balance add to its appeal. Drinkable now, but so nicely proportioned that it should age through at least 1997. 10,000 cases made.

About Winery

Stag's Leap Wine Cellars was founded by Warren Winiarski and his family in 1970. It is best known for its estate-grown Cabernet Sauvignons-CASK 23, S.L.V., and FAY. The 1973 S.L.V., the first vintage produced, beat its Bordeaux rivals in the famous Tasting of Paris that took place in 1976.
