Argiano's Brunello di Montalcino has an intense ruby-red colour. A good
concentration in the mid- palate and a persistent aftertaste, yet round
and luscious in body, with silky and interesting tannins. It combines
power and elegance and indicates a much promising future. Together with
the captivating perfumes of red fruits and the clean freshness, the
complexity of the wine proves an optimal balance. Decant the wine for at
least 1 hour before drinking for an optimum enjoyment.
About Winery
In 1581, southwest of Montalcino, the Villa of Argiano was built among vineyards and olive groves. Under the management of Countess Noemi Marone Cinzano, Argiano embarked, in 1992 and thanks to the oenological guidance of the famous master Giacomo Tachis, in a journey committed only to the highest standards of quality and aimed at consolidating its position at the top of the coveted wine market. Adriano Bambagioni, Argiano's supervising cellar master for over 20 years, and the Danish winemaker Hans Vinding-Diers, of world famous reputation, guarantee now the quality of the wines obtained from Sangiovese grosso, the autochthonous grape of Montalcino; ultimate expression of the terroir.
