An extremely elegant nose of black fruits, flowers, leather, and sweet vanilla is followed by a profoundly rich, broad, dense, and expansive medium-to-full bodied wine. Refined, powerful, gorgeously ripe, fresh, and packed with cherries, blackberries, and toasty oak, this is a well-proportioned, focused, and immensely long wine. Projected maturity: 2002-2009.
