The wine is are aged in barrique. The blends is 44% Nebbiolo, 16% Barbera, 20% Cabernet Sauvignon, and 20% Merlot. The wine is bottled unfiltered, and there are approximately 3,000 bottles. As the score suggests, it is a gorgeous wine, with terrific levels of perfume and intensity. At $58, it is realistically priced for such high quality.

Ruby-red. Exotic aromas of black raspberry, roasted nuts, coffee grounds and dill. Very sweet in the middle but with powerful underlying backbone. Opulent, dense and deep. Finishes with big, tongue-coating but ripe tannins and a flavor of dark chocolate.
