Very good dark red. Superripe aromas of chocolate, leather and Cuban tobacco. Ripe and textured, but currently a bit dominated by its tannic structure and thus hiding its flavors. Still, this is rather gentle compared to recent vintages of this wine.

Beautiful ripe fruit and elegant structure in this gorgeous Pinot Noir. Full-bodied, with sweet tannins and refined flavors of wild raspberries, cherries and cassis. Tannins clamp down on the finish. Best from 2005 through 2010. 790 cases made. –PM
