about this wine:
Archery Summit's search to produce world-class Pinot Noir led them to the Dundee Hills of Oregon. Premier Cuvée, the proprietary blend, is made from both the oldest Pommard vines and Dijon clones 113, 114, 115, 667 and 777. Hillside vineyards, which are planted with up to 4,800 vines per acre, are tended exclusively by a crew of dedicated vineyard workers.

The expressive aromatics of the medium to dark ruby-colored 1998 Premier Cuvee Pinot Noir reveal chocolate-infused, plummy black cherries. This firm, medium-bodied wine's flavor profile is composed of roasted black fruits, cocoa, and hints of cinnamon...

Deep red-ruby. Aromatic, exotic aromas of black raspberry, black cherry, baking chocolate, menthol and oak spices. Thick, rich and deep, with noteworthy extract and palate presence. Harmonious acidity gives shape to the dark fruit flavors. Finishes with firm tannins and a late burst of currant, cherry and chocolate. This is strong for a basic cuvée-an indication of the high quality of the '98 vintage. 89 points
