Pronounced nose, with aromas of enriched earth, mushroom, dried fig and tobacco leaf. On the palate the wine shows a savory, earthy character up front, finishing with plum skin, dried orange peel --a nice lift that keeps the overall texture muscular but not dense. Tannins are soft and the acidity is lively. Classic wine showing it's tertiary character after ten years-evolved and earthy.
