Saturated medium ruby. Cassis, blueberry, black cherry and tarry oak on the nose. Suave and silky, with a sappy sweetness and noteworthy intensity. Dark berry flavors complicated by notes of dark chocolate and licorice. Finishes with excellent persistence and a note of tarry oak.
