Very structured. Superattractive aromas of plum, blueberry and pressed flowers follow through to a full-bodied palate, with firm, silky tannins and a long, caressing finish. Layers and layers of ripe fruit, with everything in beautiful proportions. Almost a replay of the 1997, which scored 98 points. Best after 2006. 2,200 cases made. -JS
