...Richer, more perfumed aromas of orange blossom, nuts, spices and dried fruits. Concentrated, dense and suave, with lively balancing acidity and floral lift. Kistler describes this wine as "one of our softer '99s." Finishes with very good length. A strong note of coconut lingers in the empty glass.

About the Winery Kistler
Kistler Vineyards is a small family-owned winery based in the Russian
River Valley. They specialize in the production of Burgundian-style
Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. It was founded in 1978 by the Kistler
family. The first vintage in 1979 produced around 3000 cases and the
winery has slowly been growing towards its goal level of production,
25,000 cases per annum. The source their grapes from some of the
finest Napa and Sonoma County vineyards and they produce their own
estate-grown and produced wines as well.
