Robert Parker's Wine Advocate, August 2002

...long and textured. Along with its liquid minerality, it possesses orange marmalade/tangerine, citrus oil, white fruit, and subtle wood notes. The wine is medium to full-bodied and admirably perfumed...their 2000 Chardonnays could easily pass as grand cru white Burgundies, as that has been the case here for over a decade. These offerings possess incredible liquid minerality, great structure, and phenomenal purity...

Stephen Tanzer's IWC, May 2003

...Tightly wound but pure aromas of lemon, flowers, mint, toasted grain, iodine and nutmeg. Round and seamless but with firm underlying structure; taut, classy, stony chardonnay, a step up in intensity and length from the Dutton.

Lots of complexity, depth and richness, built around a tight, concentrated core of anise, pear, fig and earthy citrus. Holds its tight focus on a long flavorful finish...
