The 2000 Perlato del Bosco, exhibits a deep ruby/purple color as well as a sweet nose of incense, saddle leather, blackberries, mocha, and spice. Fleshy and rich, with a sweet attack (from ripe fruit, not sugar) and a long, opulent finish, it should drink well for 5-8 years.

Fruit-forward red, yet refined. Wonderfully aromatic, with violets, raspberries and blackberries. Full-bodied and chewy, with lots of fruit and a long, spicy, licorice aftertaste. Best from 2003 through 2009. 1,400 cases made.

About the Winery Tua Rita
Rita Tua and Virgilio Bisti bought this land in Suvereto in 1984 and planted new
species of grapes (cabernet sauvignon and merlot). Later they planted another 7
hectares.
1985 was the first year of wine-making but it was possible to
bottle and sell wine only in 1992.
The annual production is currently of
about 40.000 bottles.
The farm is 22 hectare wide, 18 hectares are planted
with winery (12 of them are in production).
The wineries lie at 100 metres
above sea level, on a clayey, silty soil.
Stefano Chioccioli, enologist and
agronomist, is a precious adviser for the farm.
