The 2001 Barolo Vigna del Gris is a darker shade of ruby and presents an intense nose of flowers, spices, tar and minerals. It is deeper and darker than the Parussi, with flavors of dense and dark cherry fruit on the palate, yet it doesnâ_Tt quite seem to have the structure to absorb all the new oak, although it is very pretty nonetheless.
