Nearly opaque red core with a brick rim. Sweet cherry and cassis aromas balance classic Bordeaux scents of cigar box and damp earth on the fragrant nose. A soft entry of cherry and plum fruit flavors joined by wood and earth, builds with cool precision to an extremely balanced, medium bodied-wine. A food wine to please all tastes, this will complement poultry dishes and pair well with Montreal-encrusted steak, and ahi tuna in olive tapenade.
