Popped and poured. Dark inky purple color. Nose of Chambord, dark berries and some toasty oak. Full bodied, great fruit that balanced out some acidity. Great bottle of wine. |

very typical of an Aussie shiraz. It is delicious, offering super jammy notes and amazing density. For me though, it just falls short on several levels, offering little to no complexity as well as very pronounced alcohol on the finish. The noticeable lack of tannin, coupled with a general sense of being out of balance, suggest this wine will fall apart in less than two years. Enjoy now! |
