The 2002 Pinot Noir Kistler Vineyard offers wonderful sweet raspberry and cherry fruit with a hint of framboise, a deep plum/ruby/purple color, medium body, and good vibrancy in a medium to full-bodied, feminine style. Drink it over the next 5-7 years.

The 2002 Pinot Noir Kistler Vineyard exhibits abundant amounts of sweet, wild mountain fruit characteristics intermixed with raspberries and flowers. There is good acidity (which may help it to age unusually long), tremendous fragrance, impressive purity as well as ripeness, and medium body. It is a delicately nuanced, feminine Pinot that is best consumed during its first 5-7 years of life.

About the Winery Kistler
Kistler Vineyards is a small family-owned winery based in the Russian
River Valley. They specialize in the production of Burgundian-style
Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. It was founded in 1978 by the Kistler
family. The first vintage in 1979 produced around 3000 cases and the
winery has slowly been growing towards its goal level of production,
25,000 cases per annum. The source their grapes from some of the
finest Napa and Sonoma County vineyards and they produce their own
estate-grown and produced wines as well.
