Incredibly elegant pure white flower fruit with simply terrific nuance and delineation. The barely middle weight flavors are precise, minerally, naturally sweet and utterly delicious with a distinctly sappy quality to the finish. This is not particularly complex but the linearity and detail of the finish are most impressive.

Produced from 40-year-old vines, the almond and mineral-scented 2002 Puligny-Montrachet Le Trezin is light to medium-bodied. This satiny-textured, limestone and pear-flavored wine is fresh, detailed, and delicate. It should be consumed over the next 4-5 years.
