Almonds and minerals dominate the nose of the 2002 Bienvenue-Batard-Montrachet. This broad, rich, deep, concentrated, medium-bodied wine is pure, sappy, and complex. A resiny liqueur of herbs is intermingled with stones and nuts in its expressive character. Anticipated maturity: 2005-2012.
