A rich, robust, tannic style that pushes ripeness to the edge and carries a bit of Syrahish heft in its intensity. Still, for those who like their Pinots buffed, this wine fits the bill, with rich, chewy wild berry and blackberry-laced fruit flavors. Needs time for the tannins to soften. Best from 2006 through 2011. 142 cases made.
