Brilliant red and very terroir-driven. Wild berry, black cherry, mineral and spice notes mingle with a vibrant structure and dense tannins in this electric '03 Burgundy. There's an elegance and an intensity, yet it never gets overbearing and everything seems in the right proportion for a long future. Best from 2008 through 2030. 100 cases made. –BS
