91% Cabernet Sauvignon and 9% Merlot. Aged for 27 months in new French and American oak. Purple/red brick color with wonderful aromas of chocolate, black berries, cherries, and mint leads to a palate of cocoa, chocolate, and black fruits. Round and silky with beautifully integrated tannins. The finish goes on and on - definitely not in a heavy way but instead lingers delicately on the palate in total harmony. Enjoy this wine now through 2020.

Smooth and velvety, with pure, focused currant and plum fruit floating over superfine tannins, subtlety shaded with hints of cream and spice. A touch of green olive sneaks in on the long finish. Best from 2009 through 2014. 6,000 cases made. -HS
