Very dark red with a wide, light cherry rim. Shows remarkable color and features classic California meritage aromas of bright red flowers and cassis with hints of dark chocolate and a faint dusting of spice. The Merlot component supplies an attractive flavor of sweet blue fruits which permeates the nose and carries the medium bodied palate through to the oak-kissed finish. The tannins here are integrated and smooth. Fans of California Cabernets and new world red blends will enjoy drinking this over the next two years. 56% Cabernet Sauvignon and 46% Merlot.
