A spicy, expressive, pure and superbly elegant nose of black raspberry, cherry and hints of cassis plus subtle forest floor nuances combine with textured, sweet and gorgeously detailed flavors that almost glide across the palate as the finish is a portrait in silk and lace. There is a grace to this wine, not only because of the underlying sophistication of the tannins but also because of the harmony of expression.

Deep, bright red-ruby. Dark raspberry, licorice, violet and minerals on the vibrant nose and palate. Moderately sweet, dense and sappy, with a saline impression of soil giving shape to the silky, mouthfilling flavors. A wonderfully creamy expression of terroir, with a very long, rising finish that juxtaposes floral lift and energy with deeper-pitched coffee and underbrush elements.
