91 points,

Robert Parker's Wine Advocate, November 2011

The 2004 Brut Rose Cuvee Belle Epoque is a deceptively light-colored wine. It shows off striking inner perfume and richness as the fruit flows across the palate. Sweet red berries, crushed flowers and spices are some of the notes that wrap around the finish. Though medium in body and feminine in style, there is an element of depth that is compelling. Anticipated maturity: 2012-2019.

Stephen Tanzer's IWC, November 2011

Bright orange-tinged pink. A complex, highly perfumed bouquet evokes redcurrant, raspberry, potpourri and Asian spices. Bitter cherry and rhubarb flavors give way to livelier red berries on the palate. Tightly focused and spicy on the finish, with the raspberry and spice notes echoing. A portion of the red juice in this bottling is finished red still wine from the grand crus Ambonnay and Ay.

Wine & Spirits, December 2011

A gentle caress of flavor, this wine's wild fruit character seems to last for minutes. It has the plumpness of fraises des bois at the edge of a sunny field, a dark-toned spice, the fragrance of rose petal jam. The delicacy and sweetness of the wine creates a red transparency, pierced by a stream of bubbles.

93 points,

Wine Spectator, December 2011

Delicate acidity and subtle flavors of black cherry, plum, black licorice and spice are well-meshed with the fine texture and creamy minerality of this elegant rosé, which has a smoky finish. Drink now through 2020. 2,000 cases imported.
