Palish medium red. Spicy red berries and a suggestion of Cuban tobacco on the nose. Supple, solid village wine with spicy red fruit flavors and the sappy quality of the year. Finishes with firm tannins. A bit more substantial than it appeared to be from barrel a year ago.
