Ruby at the core; bright crimson at the rim. On the nose, notes of bing cherry, raspberry, caramel, and coffee. This is very forward and surprisingly ready to drink for a 2005 Bordeaux. On the palate medium bodied with refined tannins and a decent finish. Drink now and over the next 3-5 years.

About Winery

17 hectares of vines with an average age of 35 years - 73% merlot, 24% cabernet franc and 3% malbec. Soils are a mix of sandy-clay, seashell sediment and fossils.  Farmed without fertilizers or chemical herbicides.  The finished wine is aged in 50% one-year old barrels and the rest in tank for 12 months. 2325 cases produced.
