The 2006 Coronato, from the Pianali estate in Bolgheri, is a boisterous, full-bodied red that explodes from the glass with masses of ripe, dark fruit. The wine possesses terrific richness and density in a full-bodied, opulent style that stands apart from the other wines in this line-up. Anticipated maturity: 2010-2020.

Tenuta del Biserno is a relatively new project headed by brothers Lodovico and Piero Antinori. This will be a fascinating winery to follow as the wines continue to improve.
