The nose offers aromas of bright red fruit--cranberry and ripe strawberry-- intermingled with fennel, cut grass and a touch of eucalyptus. The wine is soft through the mid-palate and stays round and luscious into the finish, with no firm tannins or rough edges. This is very approachable, without being overly complex, and is certainly ready to drink.
