A potent nose of blackberry, leather, and forest floor, a little disjointed at first but becoming more harmonious with aeration. The full-bodied palate is a little rustic, but well balanced with a herbaceous, leafy core. Just lacking a little persistency and length on the finish, but good potential. Anticipated maturity: 2012-2020
