Good bright, deep red. Slightly funky aromas of currant and leather lifted by exotic flowers. A wiry, rather compact wine with a slight rusticity to its currant and leather flavors. Not a particularly sweet style but has good stuffing. Finishes with dusty tannins. I would be more optimistic about this wine's future if it showed a bit more vibrancy today.
