Very bright in the glass with solid gold core. Ripe fruit aromas of pineapple, yellow apple and pear are surrounded by fresh herbal notes and a hint of slate. A subtle entry on the palate builds in acid on the mid through to the finish. Tropical pineapple flavors dominate the palate and are backed by a rich oak and cream component giving the wine a nice medium bodied mouth feel. Lingering notes of pear and pineapple with vanilla spice.

A small, family owned winery in Napa Valley's historic Rutherford appellation. The winery consists of approximately 110 acres of prime Valley-floor vineyards including the Leonardini Vineyard in St. Helena and is committed to making the finest Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay and Reserve wine.

About the Wine
100% Chardonnay. The wine was barrel fermented in 35% new and 65% one-year-old French oak barrels.
