Garnet in color. Showing the classic complexity of a St. Emilion in early development, cedar, soy and damp earth interplay with mineral-laden. rich black fruit. Well-balanced, structured, and taut on the palate, integrated, soft tannins round out the finish and complete the portrait. Drink now with some decanting, or lay it down for up to another 5 years.

Shows black licorice, black pepper and berries on the nose. Full-bodied, with a solid core of fruit and ripe, chewy tannins, but in balance. This has very stylish flavors. Should be nice to drink soon. Always excellent value. Best after 2012. 11,665 cases made.
