Irresistible black licorice and violet notes on the nose and on the palate with a finish of ripe berries and mahogany. This is a very nice, full bodied, polished wine with beautiful tannins. This is Damilano's best single vineyard wine from this vintage. Should be drinking incredibly after 2015. Try this after 2014.

The estate's 2006 Barolo Liste is powerful and rich in its dark fruit. True to the qualities of this site, the Liste is a Barolo built on power more than elegance. It shows terrific balance, particularly in the integration of the French oak. Today it remains rather imposing and tannic, but a few years in bottle will be highly beneficial. Anticipated maturity: 2016-2026.
