Reticent but pure nose hints at stone fruits and flowers. Then fat and stuffed with very ripe fruit. Perhaps less refined in texture and less minerally than the Referts but this fruit bomb is classically dry and finishes with outstanding persistence.

This is appealing for its elegant and savory character, offering lemon, toasted brioche and hazelnut flavors that mingle with the firm structure. Taut and minerally, with fine potential. Has excellent length. Best from 2010 through 2018. 100 cases imported. –BS
