Opaque purple core with a bright violet rim. Bright raspberry and boysenberry on the nose with complimentary aromas of chocolate, anise, and brown sugar. Showing riper fruit than when tasted out of barrel. Clean and plush upon entry with some serious acid and intense tannins. This should prove age worthy as the tannins continue to resolve.
