2007 Rouget Bordeaux Blend
Bordeaux Blend: 750ml
Jeff Loo, JJ Buckley, March 2011
Dark ruby red showcasing great concentration of color with very little rim varation towards the edge. The nose is dominated by notes of licorice, red currant and mineral, intermixed with vanilla, cranberry and soft floral accents. Medium bodied with round tannins and acidity, the mid palate displays red cherry, plum and roasted herbs, leading to a pleasant finish. Paired with a nicely grilled NY Steak, this wine will sing, or enjoy on its own now with a bit of air or over the next 5-8 years.

This property appears to be making better and better wines with each vintage. The soft, silky, tasty 2007 boasts copious black cherry and ripe strawberry fruit interwoven with notions of sandy soil. Enjoy this medium-bodied, plush Pomerol over the next 7-10 years.

Deep, bright ruby-red. Musky, rather wild aromas of black raspberry, espresso, chocolate, leather and meat. Sweet, soft and stuffed with raspberry, plum and leather flavors. A pliant midweight that finishes with a fine dusting of tannins and lingering notes of leather and pepper.
