Inky black core with a bright fuchsia rim. Thick fruit aromas swarm out of the glass bringing ripe blackberry and blueberry all surrounded by a dark note of caramel and wisp of crushed violets. Very juicy on the front palate. Dark and lush with fresh acidity keeping it light on its feet and making it a great wine for food. The dark fruits are backed by roasted coffee and bakers' chocolate leading to a long, fruity finish. 85% Malbec, 15% Merlot.

Racy and delicious, with vibrant raspberry and blueberry fruit stretched over sweet vanilla and graphite notes. Has a really fresh finish. Malbec and Merlot. Drink now through 2009. 2,500 cases made. –JM
