24k Golden hue with a clear/yellow rim. Juicy and tropical on the nose with starfruit, guava, and citrus aromas. Some notes of crème brulee and vanilla show through as well. Rich and textured Chardonnay with lots of mouthfeel but not over the top in any respect. Layered and delicious. This shows a lot of focus but also displays abundant fruit.

This wine is a stunner! A very deep golden straw color. On the nose very complex notes of granny smith apples, nectarines, hazelnut and crushed rocks. After taking my first sip I was inundated by the striking minerality, bright acidity, and the balance of the wine. There are hints of lemon peel, mandarin oranges, and a touch of new oak. This is a teriffic example of well made California Chardonnay.

Revealing a more evolved, light to medium gold color, the 2007 Chardonnay Estate offers zesty, caramelized orange rind notes intermixed with lemon grass and a steely minerality. Medium to full-bodied and tightly knit, it looks set for at least 5-6 years of life.

($30) Bright gold. Ripe melon and pit fruits on the nose. Brighter orange and Meyer lemon on the palate, which features a fleshy texture and a slow-building note of floral honey. The citrus notes gain strength on the clean, juicy, impressively persistent finish. 90 points
