2007 Plince Bordeaux Blend
Bordeaux Blend: 750ml
Decanter, March 2009
Three Stars: Nicely concentrated black fruits. Good, plummy, black fruit flavours, with excellent balance and length. Drink from 2011.
Jancis Robinson, April 2008
Dark crimson. Rich and ripe on the nose. Quite firm tannins but there is sufficient ripe fruit to stand up to them. Really sinewy and quite succulent. Ambitious Pomerol for the long term. Lots of sap. (Drink between 2012-2018)
John Sweeney, JJ Buckley, March 2011
Deep ruby, almost purple at the core. Very aromatic, the nose displays notes of plum, red cherry, forest floor, rocky soil and a touch of new oak. Fruit flavors dominate the palate, balanced nicely with a persistent, earth-driven finish. Medium to full bodied, this exhibits subtle, fine-grained tannins. Made in a modern styl, this is still clearly Right Bank Bordeaux and very satisfying even its youth.
Stephen Tanzer's IWC, June 2008
Good ruby-red. Sexy aromas of black cherry and minerals. Supple, sweet and easygoing if a bit reduced today. In a round, slightly chunky style. Finishes with decent purity of fruit and slightly drying tannins.
