Bright, pale yellow. Reticent nose hints at soft citrus fruits and deeper soil tones. Rich and dense, even fat, but quite youthfully taut and light on its feet today, with brisk grapefruity acidity giving cut to the lemon peel and crushed stone flavors. This very tight hillside wine should reward six or seven years of cellaring. 92(+?) points
