Dark purple core, with a ruby rim. The nose offers boysenberry, plum, chocolate and soy sauce notes, rounded off with spicy black pepper and black cherry. Medium to full-bodied on the palate, with vanilla, cassis, and espresso flavors gaining structure and lift from smooth tannins and pleasing acidity. Enjoyable to drink now, this can definitely hold for another 5-8 years.
