A deep straw color with a tinge of green. This displays an enticing nose of toasted hazelnut, pear and a hint of underlying citrus. On the palate, the flavors at the forefront are fresh citrus and toasted hazelnut, framed by notes of flint, all leading to a clean, crisp and well-balanced finish.

Good yellow-gold color. Slightly high-toned aromas and flavors of tropical fruits, apricot, vanilla and honey; hints of botrytis here. Plump, broad and sweet, with a strong component of spicy, vanillin oak. The lingering finish turns more classically dry.

About Winery

Sbragia is a family-owned winery in Dry Creek Valley headed by Ed Sbragia, who began working at Beringer in 1976 and became head winemaker in 1984. Sbragia Family Vineyards prides itself on its single vineyard varietals and small case production. Varieties include Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Merlot, Zinfandel and Cabernet Sauvignon. Most of the wines are made from vineyards owned by the Sbragia family, but do include select vineyards from Sonoma and Napa Valley as well.
