about this wine:
"a red fruity, spicy wine, a great complexity in aromas, well balanced between fruit and tannin, long at the palate, harmonious and fine."

32.5% cabernet sauvignon, 55% merlot, 2.5% cabernet franc. Aged for 16 months in oak, 30% new. Pretty nose. This is powerful, yet light on its feet, with copious dark cherry flavors and a smooth finish.

A wine with medium-to-full body and a lovely core of fruit with silky tannins. Very subtle verging on lean, but I like the austerity. Try in 2015.

50% cabernet sauvignon, 50% merlot. Pretty yet powerful on the nose, the wine shows copious dark cherry fruit aromas, while remaining light on its feet. The smooth finish lingers while showing soft tannins. This will see the best drinking over the next 15 years.

Big, firmly tannic wine, smoky and warm, with great swathes of black currant fruit. It is firmly structured, but it is the rich sweet fruits that are the attraction. R.V.

A tangy, taut style, with lively damson plum, Campari and red currant notes framed by subtle toast. This darkens a little through the finish, but stays on the sinewy side. Drink now through 2017. –JM
