A gorgeous nose of spring flowers, blueberries, crushed rocks and wet steel is impressive and very intense. The wine exhibits density, richness, full-bodied power and gorgeous texture with perfectly integrated acidity, alcohol, tannin and wood. This is a beauty and probably the best wine ever made at this estate. It should drink well for 20-25 years at the very minimum. 93+ points.

The best wine ever from proprietor Catherine Papon-Nouvel, this equal part blend of old-vine Cabernet Franc and Merlot, cropped at 25 hectoliters per hectare, has 14.5% natural alcohol.
