50% cabernet sauvignon, 45% merlot, 5% petit verdot. Aged in 25% new oak. Deep ruby with a medium crimson rim. Pretty red fruit and roasted espresso on the nose give this elegant Margaux the aroma profile of a high class Burgundy. A bit austere to start but becomes fleshy as the wine passes from the front of the palate towards the back. Loganberry and red currant on the palate combine nicely with notes of sage and anise to give some complexity. Refined and elegant.

Blueberries, raspberries, licorice, and flowers on the nose. Full body, with ultra-fine tannins and a racy and long finish. This is a wine, with form and finesse. Best ever from here. Try after 2018.
