Dark plum hue with glimmers of ruby. This zinfandel/cabernet blend delivers a forward nose of spiced cherry, berry and cocoa followed by a peppery undertone. The palate is loaded with generous black cherry and plum complemented by wood spice and earth, along with subtle herbs and black cardamom. Medium to full bodied, this has a lovely, supple texture and moderate tannins, without hard edges. Drink now through 2017.
