A somewhat curious nose of reduction with a background herbal character leads to fresh, vibrant and stony middle weight flavors that are supple and almost delicate on the clean, austere and linear finish. This clearly is quite backward and youthfully awkward today though there is no reason that it shouldn't sort itself out in time.

Ruby core fades to a light garnet rim. A bright and high toned bouquet shows good intensity at a young age. Showing fresh raspberry, Bing cherry, Japanese plum, orange zest, fresh flowers, freshly baked fruit cake and baking spice. Medium bodied with integrated tannin and balanced acidity. Red fruit and floral notes dominate the palate, which closes with a long mineral-driven finish. Drinking well now, this will continue to develop for 5-10 years.
