If a touch on the reserved side at present and more subtle and nuanced than outgoing, this wine hits every stop with precision and complexity from its early suggestions of raspberries and red cherries to its quiet but richly toasty backdrop of creamy oak and roasted grains. Its entry to the palate may be slightly rounded with hints of suppleness, but, the main message here centers on the complex, tasty flavors that promise far more depth and openness over the next five to ten years. Perhaps even more than its mate below, this is a wine that has not begun to show all that it has to offer.

Medium ruby color; deep, subtle aromas of spice, red cherry and rose petal; rich complex red cherry flavors with earth and spice notes; silky texture; some sweet oak; good structure and balance; long finish. Silky Pinot that really has some subtle complexity. 240 cases made
